Check missing required CSV template headers
Use a synthetic product CSV to compare sku, name, price, status and show a missing required header before import.
Open exampleCompare CSV headers with an import template to find missing required headers, extra columns, duplicate headers, and uneven rows in the browser.
CSV template validation runs only in your browser. Do not turn real customer sheets, order fields, email addresses, phone numbers, or import logs into public result links.
The result will appear here as structured cards.

Local tools run in the browser when possible. Server-side checks only use the input needed to complete the lookup.
It is the comparison value used to match template fields, not a timestamp. Trimming removes surrounding whitespace; case-insensitive matching lowercases names, so SKU and sku can match. Disabling those options preserves the respective differences. Validation does not rewrite your CSV. Columns start at 1; CSV record numbers include the header, and a quoted multiline field remains one record.
In id,,amount, column 2 has no name even though id and amount exist. Give it the correct field name, or remove the entire column only if its data is unnecessary; deleting only the header comma can misalign the data. Importers may generate names or reject blank headers, so check the target system. Validation stays in your browser.
It compares the CSV header row with required and optional template headers, then flags missing required headers, extra columns, duplicate headers, and rows whose column count does not match the header.
Fix headers first. Most import systems map fields by the header row, so missing or duplicated headers can break the import before row-level cleanup matters.
